Best (or worst) Museum Building Design

I'm excited about many of the work architects have been doing in the museum field around the world. I have finally warmed up to the Guggenheim/Bilbao museum, although it took me a few years.

I love the work done for the Walker in Minneapolis. The Walker is one of my favorite museums to begin with, and the new design has helped showcase more art in marvelous spaces.

The Denver Museum of Art has a new building. Even though it doesn't exactly blend with the old building, somehow the complex works as a whole. A walkway connects the two buildings, the older fairly conventional one, and the newer which looks somewhat like a stingray, but without its elegance.

I also have a blog, http://visitmuseums.blogspot.com/ and hereby invite you and other museum lovers to join its dialog as team members or as guest posters.
